The Cork Medical Centre is holding a walk-in-recruitment day this Saturday, 22 January, at its Mahon facility, in an effort to recruit an additional 100 staff.
Ireland’s newest €90m private hospital, which officially opened in October, is seeking nursing and theatre staff, as well as radiology, laboratory and pharmacy staff.
The new jobs follows the decision by Sheehan Medical to open its suite of operating theatres on 14 March. Sheehan Medical runs the facility.
CMC managers will be at the hospital from noon until 3pm on Saturday to meet prospective employees, who are asked to bring CVs, the company said, and to take them on a tour of the 73-bed facility.
