Caped Koala Studio, a Cork-based provider of online education and entertainment for children, is planning to create 26 new jobs by year’s end.
Most of the jobs will be in Cork and Poland. The company, which is headquartered in West Cork Technology Park, also has offices in London and Poland.
Caped Koala Studio, which now employs 16 people, is striving to obtain 30m users within three years, company founder Neil Gallagher told The Evening Echo.
Caped Koala Studio has developed an online 3D virtual world called Pora Ora, whose content is mapped to Ireland and the UK’s national curriculum.
The company is also planning to establish partnerships with mobile operators and educational firms.
