Blue Insurance, one of Ireland’s leading providers of niche insurance, today announced the creation of 100 new jobs at its Blanchardstown offices, to be brought online over the next 18 to 24 months.
The company will be seeking applicants across a number of departments, including call centre customer services, junior management, admin and IT development.
The roles, which will more than triple the company’s existing workforce, have been created to support the expansion of Blue Insurance into the personal lines and international insurance markets.
Speaking at the announcement, Minister for Health Leo Varadkar said: “Blue Insurance is a real Irish success story, both locally in Blanchardstown and nationally. This is clearly an innovative company, which identified a niche in the market and made a success of it. Ireland’s future economic recovery will be built on the backbone of SMEs like Blue Insurance.”
Ciaran Mulligan, managing director of Blue Insurance, spoke in support of the Government’s job creation strategy:
“We [at Blue Insurance] strongly believe that innovative Irish-owned companies such as Blue Insurance can make an important contribution towards achieving the goals set out in the Government’s IFS2020 strategy.”
