As a result of a successful 2010, City West-based security provider Ward Solutions plans to hire an additional 10 staff in 2011.
Ward Solutions provides security expertise to help organisations assess their security state, meet information security challenges, design solutions and achieve regulatory compliance.
The company plans to hire two sales and eight experienced security consultants and engineers, bringing its total staff to more than 40 employees. Ward is seeking to hire five of the 10 during the first half of 2011. Ward plans to hire additional staff within 2012 and 2013.
“These hiring plans are in response to a strong year in 2010 and aggressive growth plans across all parts of the Ward Solutions business, from security consultancy, security assurance/testing, security solutions supply, as well as security incident response and forensics from 2011-2014,” said Pat Larkin, CEO of Ward Solutions.
“We believe that our broad portfolio of security services coupled with our wide range of security solutions from strategic partners such as McAfee, Fortinet, and Microsoft, etc, provides our customers with the opportunity to address all of their security needs from a single supplier, such as Ward Solutions. This is proving very attractive to the market, as evidenced by our growth. A number of established security paradigms are also shifting and the decline of some significant indigenous security players during 2009 and 2010 offers us the opportunity to win significant new business in the national and international markets,” Ward added.
Ward’s staff expansion is due to the company’s success. The plans will be funded mainly from the company’s own accumulated resources, and it will not be dependent on external funding.
