Looking for a new job in Galway? These companies are all on the hunt for great talent.

Increasingly, international firms are opting to move to areas in the west of Ireland as opposed to heading to the country’s capital, and Galway regularly emerges as a top pick.
For this reason, there are plenty of roles up for grabs in the area. So, without further ado, here are eight great companies hiring in Galway right now.
Avaya
American multinational Avaya specialises in unified business communications and helping companies weather the storm of digital transformation. Currently, it is hiring a cloud software senior engineer at its Galway hub.
Rent the Runway
Rent the Runway is a tech platform that allows users to rent designer dresses and accessories. It was revealed earlier this year that the company, with the support of IDA Ireland, plans to found an international tech hub in Galway over the next three years, creating 150 jobs in the process. It is currently recruiting for a broad swathe of roles.
Fidelity Investments
Multinational financial services firm Fidelity Investments is globally headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, but it has had a significant presence in Ireland for many years, including its hub in Galway. The company has a number of engineering roles currently up for grabs.
Genesys

As Joe Smyth, senior vice-president of R&D at Galway-based AI powerhouse Genesys, explains, the area has a thriving tech scene, which his company certainly contributes to. Last year, Genesys announced the creation of 200 roles shortly after it acquired Altocloud – the Galway business founded by Smyth, Barry O’Sullivan and Dan Arra. It is currently hiring software engineers.
PwC
Professional services firm PwC has hubs dotted all around Ireland, including one in Galway. Earlier this year, the company revealed the relocation of its Galway office to a new state-of-the-art facility in One Galway Central, creating 40 new roles in the process. Xperi
Silicon Valley-based tech company Xperi opened a brand new Galway office in September of this year and created more than 50 new engineering positions in Ireland.
“With the creation of an innovation hub in Galway, we are investing in the future to fuel our competitive and innovative edge,” said Xperi CEO Jon Kirchner at the time.
EY
EY has offices all around the country and is always on the hunt for new talent to help it continue to offer world-class professional services to its clients. It is seeking applicants for audit roles in Galway now.
Storm
Storm is a business technology consultancy and Microsoft solutions partner. It has had a significant presence in Ireland for years, including at its hub in the west, where it is hiring for a broad swathe of technology roles right now.
