US technology firm Se2 is set to double its workforce in Waterford as it officially opens its Irish office.
Se2 – a third-party technology administrator for the insurance industry – will be growing its workforce from 70 to 135, with the jobs rolled out over the next three to four years.
According to Janet Dulohery, the company’s VP and head of human resources, the recruitment process will seek out “ambitious people, who are similarly enthused about making a real impact on the US life and pension industry”.
Speaking at the event, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD said: “The south-east is now the fastest growing region outside of Dublin … Having such a highly regarded company as Se2 in Waterford is a great boost to the region and will help us attract other high-growth tech companies here”.
The company’s bespoke offices were officially opened in Waterford’s IDA Technology Park.
Gautam Thakkar, Se2 CEO, said, “To open our offices in Waterford is an important milestone for Se2. This is a sign of our continued commitment to the region, which is an important hub for our global service delivery model”.
Se2 works to futureproof insurance companies in North America, utilising a purpose-built administration technology platform.
