The marketing automation software company is creating 26 new roles with the support of Invest NI.
Marketing automation software company Zymplify is expanding in Northern Ireland. The company is investing £1.5m in an expansion creating 26 new jobs at its headquarters in Portstewart, Co Derry.
The new jobs will be a mix of sales, customer support, marketing, management and technical roles. Seven of the new positions have already been filled.
While the company is currently recruiting from its Derry HQ, Zymplify has embraced remote and hybrid working models. As well as its base in the seaside town of Portstewart, Zymplify operates advisory hubs in Belfast, London, Manchester and Boston.
Founded in 2013, Zymplify offers marketing professionals a dashboard from which to plan and analyse social and digital marketing activities in real time.
The company is a Google partner and one of a few dozen firms in the UK and Ireland to participate in the Google Technology Partner programme.
“We announced an ambitious growth and development plan back in 2018 and over the last three years we have been working hard to grow and strengthen our business,” said Zymplify founder and CEO Michael Carlin.
“The marketing automation space has proved to be very fast growing worldwide and our new staff will help us to carve out a larger piece of this market and fulfil the potential we know our business is capable of. We are very excited for the future.”
The growing SaaS company has been successful in securing backing from US investors. This latest investment is supported by Invest NI, Northern Ireland’s regional economic development agency.
Invest NI will provide £182,000 of support towards the creation of the new jobs. This support is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Zymplify has been supported by Invest NI for the past decade, according to the agency’s executive director of regional business, Alan McKeown.
“We have offered the company business advice and guidance, R&D support to innovate its services, skills support and financial assistance to grow its team. Combined, this is helping Zymplify grow its reputation in the global automated software market and assisting it to meet demand for its services with new products now on board and new contracts secured in GB, RoI and Europe,” said McKeown.
