Ireland’s first iPad banking app

Danske Bank yesterday launched one of the first dedicated Irish banking applications designed for the iPad. The free app allows users to check their account balances, view and search through transactions going back 13 months, transfer money, pay bills and compare income and expenditure. Users can also employ drag-and-drop functionality, depending upon how they wish to view their finances.

“The new iPad app ensures that our mobile banking services stay ahead of the competition,” the head of personal banking at Danske Bank Stephen Foley explained.
