This summer sees the famous Angry Birds get a well-deserved holiday to Piglantis as Rovio updates Angry Birds Seasons with the addition of 30 new levels with underwater challenges.
The new environment brings ‘underwater physics’ to the game and sees the birds fight the pigs in a tropical paradise under the sea.
This provides new challenges to users who can employ a new strategy and approach the game differently, armed with the knowledge that birds float and pigs sink.
This year has already seen Angry Birds take off into space and, in the real world, their summer adventure began with the opening of the first Angry Birds Land in Särkänniemi theme park, Finland. And makers Rovio clearly haven’t run out of ideas for the popular game, which was awarded Overall Best Licensed Programme of the Year and Best Character/Toy Brand Programme of the Year at the recent LIMA Awards in Las Vegas.
To celebrate the launch of the new levels, hardcore fans can download Piglantis wallpapers for desktop computers, iPads and mobile devices.
Piglantis levels are available now on iOs and Android, with updates for Mac and PC coming soon.
