This view gives you a look from Baily Lighthouse on Howth Head as it sits precariously on top of rocks with its 134ft high tower and rotating light beaming out into the Irish Sea.

This incredibly hypnotic simulation of global wind patterns provided by the US National Weather Service shows Ireland in the midst of a serious storm as it moves over Wales and western England also.
Unsurprisingly, the large blob of red on the map indicates where the gales are strongest.
