Spotted #Inspirefest2015 trending on Twitter? Wish you could join in the fun? You’re in luck, as one-day tickets are now available.
Inspirefest, a three-day sci-tech event with an added Fringe Festival, kicked off in earnest today with keynotes from Kathy Kleiman, co-producer of The Computers; Spacehack.org founder Ariel Waldman; and Steve Neff, CTO of Fidelity Investments. And, as I write, we are looking forward to a closing keynote from renowned astrophysicist Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell.
The hashtag #Inspirefest2015 was trending on Twitter even before the first speaker — Inspirefest founder and Silicon Republic CEO Ann O’Dea — took the stage. With the rousing interest in the event following its opening hours, a limited number of one-day tickets have been released for Friday 19 June.
Friday tickets to Inspirefest offer access to keynote speeches from MakeLoveNotPorn founder Cindy Gallop, Black Girls Code founder Kimberly Bryant, and Giant Spacekat co-founder Brianna Wu.
There’s also an internet of things and wearables panel promising a few surprises, and quickfire Ignition talks from start-up entrepreneurs.
Following that will be films, music and Headspace chat in Merrion Square as part of the Fringe Festival line-up — not to mention the closing celebrations.
So, what are you waiting for? Friday tickets to Inspirefest 2015 are available now.
Inspirefest 2015 is Silicon Republic’s international event running 18-20 June in Dublin, connecting sci-tech professionals passionate about the future of STEM with fresh perspectives on leadership, innovation and diversity.
