At Inspirefest 2019, Adam Harris laid out a vision for a workplace that not only accepts the autistic community but appreciates the value of their neurodiversity.

What is it like to be autistic? Why is it hard for autistic people to get a job? How can we be more autism-friendly?

These were some of the questions that Adam Harris, founder and CEO of AsIAm.ie, tackled at Inspirefest 2019.

Though there is still a lot of stigma surrounding autism in Ireland, he believes we are on the right track to “make Ireland the world’s most autism-friendly country”.

But how do we get there? Luckily, Harris listed many ways we can ‘autism-proof’ the workplace and make the transition as smooth as possible for a new recruit.
