What are the career opportunities on offer at pharma manufacturing company MSD? We visited its Ballydine site to learn more.
We took a trip to Ballydine, located 12km outside of Clonmel in Tipperary, to meet with some of the people working at pharma giant MSD.
They let us know about the positions the company is seeking to fill, from analytical chemists to safety engineers, and what new hires can expect.
API tech lead David Keogh filled us in on the nature of career progression at Ballydine and how “everyone is working together creating innovative solutions”, while analytical development and commercialisation director Sinead Cahill told us why the company is keen to upskill its existing workforce but also to bring in new technical expertise.
According to Keogh, choosing MSD means that people “can start their career in one function and, throughout their career, move through any or all the different functions of pharmaceutical development”.
