PwC’s Neil Redmond and Raksha Prabhu give an insight for candidates into the skills required to make it in cybersecurity.
Ireland’s cybersecurity sector is growing exponentially and with that comes a demand for talented, skilled professionals to take up the mantle and apply their expertise to a vastly evolving industry.
SiliconRepublic.com recently spoke with leaders at PwC about the skills needed for success in cybersecurity and who they hope to see applying for positions. PwC director Neil Redmond expects candidates to have a broad range of expertise. He said the main attributes PwC is looking for are an ability to work well with others and an understanding of the complexity of cybersecurity.
This was echoed by cybersecurity and privacy manager Raksha Prabhu, who encouraged those with a “commitment towards continuous learning” to consider applying.
